User Testing

The tests were conducted in 3 rounds, each time on five different users, each with a slightly different technological orientation.

The tests were conducted on men and women between the ages of 31-22. Each test began by explaining to the subjects about the nature of the test. The subjects were asked to cooperate by sharing their thoughts aloud.

All the tests were conducted in the natural environment of the users- during a journey in the city (on a bus, on the way to the train station etc).

Conclusions

  • The subjects felt that the "Home screen" button is missing.

  • A disadvantage was felt in the fact that the application did not identify by itself when the subject had completed his or her trips.

  • Most of the subjects felt a need for a clear indication when they got off from the transportation vehicle.

  • The question “how can we show that we are paying for the trip?” was asked from almost all the subjects, so the QR code button was added to indicate payment.

  • About half of the subjects wanted an independent ability to stop the search of the application, and therefore a STOP button was added.
